Australia Attacker Was Known to Intelligence Agency as ISIS Member (Salty Cracker)

The political reaction in Australia is to ban guns, after they already banned them!

Was this sort of attack allowed to happen by the intelligence agencies? In Europe nothing is being done to stop the extremists and the same seems to be true in Australia. It's like the authorities want terror attacks to happen so they can take advantage of the situation and enact draconian laws to oppress ordinary people - while they doing nothing to stop radicals, or dial back mass migration. Insanity.
