A close encounter is coming. And it's MUCH scarier than 3I Atlas! (Angry Astronaut)

While 3I Atlas was hidden from our view at perihelion, another, far more dangerous object was also hidden in the Sun's glare.
NASA says that Apophis has no chance of hitting our planet, but a tiny unforseen change in its trajectory could change everything.
And an Apophis collision with our planet is a terrifying prospect
.

The close approach is set for 2029. The chance of Earth being hit is likely a lot higher than claimed, given the time time frame and possibility of tiny influences altering the trajectory.
