The CIA Is The Greatest Threat To The Planet Today! – Fmr CIA Agent John Kiriakou (Jimmy Dore)

In this segment former CIA officer John Kiriakou tells Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger that the agency is a bloated bureaucracy full of incompetence rather than a sleek, James Bond–style organization, pushing back on claims that it is “not evil enough.” He explains how the CIA helped create al-Qaeda through its support of the Mujahadeen, later tried to manipulate extremists, and ended up fueling catastrophic blowback like 9/11.

The panel criticize pundits such as Cenk Uygur for misunderstanding the CIA’s role, while pointing out that covert operations, coups, and regime change remain central to the agency’s mission. Kiriakou also discussed compartmentalization, continuity of government (COG), underground facilities like Mount Weather, and trillions in unaccounted-for spending linked to secret programs.



Despite Kiriakou having served time in prison, his take on the world should not be fully trusted. Ex CIA people are a mixed bag - and all of them have limits on what they can say, and some act as media disinformation artists.  Take whatever Mr Kiriakou says with a grain of salt.
