MSNBC Cheerleads For Trump’s Regime Change War In Venezuela! (Jimmy Dore)

The Trump administration is now routinely blowing alleged drug-running vessels near Venezuela out of the water even though administration officials have admitted they are really only pursuing a policy of regime change against President Nicolás Maduro rather than legitimate anti-drug operations.

Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger highlight inconsistencies in U.S. policy, such as bombing suspected smugglers without trial and releasing survivors without prosecution, which expose the real motive of controlling Venezuela’s natural resources.

Jimmy also points to comments by Richard Haass, former head of the Council on Foreign Relations, on MSNBC, as confirmation that regime change is the underlying goal of U.S. actions and that Dems are 100 percent on board.

He concludes by arguing that both major U.S. political parties and establishment media support interventionist policies that serve corporate and imperial interests rather than democratic or humanitarian ones.
