The Left Has A Massive Culture Problem, It's Making Mental Illness Worse (Tim Pool)

Many on the left have been programmed to think that people (on the right, and centre) who have opposing viewpoints are actually causing the deaths of people, and that 'their side' bears no responsibility (or little) for any of the problems we see in the world today, including the violence. Many modern leftists are actually siding with globalist/corporatist forces over open borders, net zero policy, and censorship, and are no longer supporting ordinary (working) people, except in the realm of welfare/health services. Perhaps the main thing they do get right, that many centrists and some on the right agree with, is that the US is in the hands of a corrupt corpocracy.

Unfortunately, rather than coming together to try out different solutions, to tackle the top down oppression, many leftists have been misinformed to think that those that disagree with them are uncaring bigoted monsters, or fascists, and their solution is to wipe them out. A substantial portion of the material they use to justify their positions is false - with their opponents being unfairly smeared and called out for things they never even said, or for positions that are not unreasonable. This happens all the time. The best way forward is dialog, even if reaching people is hard to do.

Running through all of this is the problem of anti Western identity politics, or Cultural Marxism, that pits working people against each other - formed around issues of race, gender and sexuality. This stuff is really divisive, and it derails the bedrock principle of meritocracy that gives equal opportunity to everyone (but does not guarantee outcome). This ideology steers people away from openly expressing their views, including scientific research, and stops people coming together to properly address the corporatist system that impoverishes everyone. It blames the problems of the world on their neighbours and not those (psychopaths) at the top - (where the psychopaths are present in many different countries and cultures).

In previous clips Tim Pool has cited research showing that many on the left have subjectivist and insular views that doesn't help their cognitive functioning where, under questioning, they could not imagine what someone with an opposing view might think. However, those on the centre, or right, could more easily guess what a left-leaning person might think about an issue. Thus, there seems to be two issues in play when it comes to bringing people together which is left leaning indoctrination (propaganda) plus one's underlying psychological disposition.

Of course rigid right leaning positions carry with them similar problems but more people on the right, and centre, appear ready to talk, and perhaps experiment with what might work, as opposed to more on the left not willing to engage, or lacking the cognitive ability to do so.
