An excellent summary of events happening during the late 1940s and early 1950s. This stuff is important in the scheme of building up a national security state. It does help if you have some knowledge about this era before watching the video - to understand the significance of the things touched upon, such as the 1953 CIA Robertson Panel (setting the stage for decades of disinformation) - but it's not necessary. If you learnt about this subject in the past it taught you everything you needed to know about dealing with interrogating data, recognising official corruption, and the (media) propaganda that face today.
