Gerasimov, aggressive attrition (TheDuran)

General Gerasimov, the overall Russian military commander, is confirming much of the online reporting about critical aspects of the fighting. Many pockets have been formed all along the front line that are trapping Ukrainian forces. This is the same pattern we've seen throughout the course of the war except that things are accelerating. The last part of this clip deals with the assassination of Banderite leader Andriy Parubiy, who, from recent reports, seems to have been killed by the father of a soldier who died in the war. The discussion about Parubiy highlights a central reason for the fighting in the first place, with Russia trying to eliminate extremists like him in order to end the fighting and stop future conflict. US neocons and Ukrainian neo-Nazis have pushed for the war, and now Russia is seeking to end it.
