All these problems have solutions, and actually aren't that hard... but the political will isn't there because idiots keep voting for idiots.

Victoria might not be willing to save itself, but we should all be willing to learn the lessons.



Topher's solution to cut red tape to solve the housing crisis is only one aspect of the problem. The other side to it is mass migration. If migration is cut prices will fall. He's correct about locking up repeat violent offenders and not bailing them when it comes to crime. To fix the overall economy Topher wants to cut Government hiring demands on employers for employees so that they don't have to fork out so much money on staff. He believes that staff costs are driving up the cost of goods and services, or at least strongly contributing to it. However, a better solution is to lower energy costs - the KEY thing that is driving inflation - and something he implicitly acknowledges. It's the root cause of the present crisis. Cheap energy can be achieved via a gas reservation policy and also investing in coal power stations.
