Ukraine Rejects US Peace Initiative. Russians Break Through Defenses North of Pokrovsk. MS 2025.08.10

Reality continues to be shaped by events on the ground. If Zelensky has rejected any peace deal that involves giving up land then the fighting will continue until the Russians take over all the land. They will end up fully defeating the Ukrainian Army and end up occupying territory along the Dnieper River and likely down to Odessa, and perhaps large northern areas. The ultimate goal will be the surrender and demilitarisation of Ukraine.
