Hamas Wants PEACE! Offers To Trade Hostages For A CEASEFIRE! (Jimmy Dore)

Hamas has accepted a ceasefire proposal brokered by Qatar and Egypt, which would include a 60-day truce, the release of 10 Israeli hostages, and negotiations toward a longer-term peace. Despite Israel previously agreeing to similar terms, Prime Minister Netanyahu and other Israeli officials have signaled rejection, insisting instead on escalating the military campaign in Gaza.

Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger argue that Netanyahu has no real interest in recovering hostages, since their release would undercut his justification for continuing what critics describe as ethnic cleansing. Meanwhile, mass protests in Israel demand a deal to free the captives, but Israel is nevertheless mobilizing 60,000 reservists, suggesting that the genocide will not only continue, but will in fact escalate
