Ukraine Rejects Taking Back Dead Soldiers' Bodies. Desertion Numbers Rise. Military Summary 2025.6.8

The Ukrainian dead likely come from their Kursk offensive. Confirmation of the dead means that their Government will need to pay compensation to the families, something they may not want to do. The thing to remember about the war is that it appears Ukrainian soldiers are almost entirely expendable assets. A negotiated peaceful settlement should have been reached years ago, but this is not what the extremists in Ukraine, nor the US neocons, wanted.
