Iran HITS BACK At Israel! w/ Scott Ritter (The Jimmy Dore Show)

Iran launched retaliatory airstrikes at Israel on Friday night, with explosions heard in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, the country's two largest cities, following Israel's biggest-ever military strike against its longstanding enemy.

Air raid sirens sounded across Israel as authorities urged the public to take shelter. Missiles were seen over Tel Aviv's skyline, with footage of the strikes appearing soon thereafter online.

Guest host Aaron Maté and former Marine intelligence officer Scott Ritter discuss Iran’s depleted capacity for retaliation but also Israel’s lack of resources to withstand a lengthy barrage from Iran.



Scott Ritter on the Jimmy Dore Show with Aaron Mate who warns that Israel will be looking to directly involve the USA. To avoid this situation the Iranians should make a nuclear enrichment deal to get the US off their backs.

He points out that an extended conventional weapons exchange between the two countries won't end well for the Israelis who will run out of air defence missiles - because they need to fire about 4 interceptors for every incoming missile.

Please consider that these analysts are not always right about what they're looking at too, but it's worth noting what they are saying, and learning as we go. A lot of them thought the Ukraine war would have been over years ago, but they didn't fully appreciate what was happening. And the fall of the Syrian Government was also a bit of a surprise too, but on reflection, with their economy falling apart due to the US occupation and sanctions, it was a possibility. If you consider the realm of economics, the economist Paul Craig Roberts taught us that due to all the corruption it was impossible to guess/predict where things would go because the normal indicators were no long valid due to all the funny money (behind the scenes corruption/rigging) in the system.
