Gobekli Tepe Could Be Older Than Previously Claimed. Ben Van Kerkwyk explains that Gobekli and Karahan Tepe could have been constructed in two different separate phases, and that the huge columns could be much older than the surrounding dry walls, that seem to have been laid there in a different time. The fact that the dating of the site was done from samples inside the dry walls and not surrounding the huge pillars, the actual dates could be totally different.
