COL. Douglas Macgregor : How Close is War With Iran? (Judging Freedom)

An interview from before Israel's latest strike on Iran. Macgregor was correct in saying that the Israelis would launch a unilateral strike on Iran. However, it seems that the US was well aware of this attack, and probably lent (satellite intelligence) support. The reason for the strike, according to Macgregor, was to make sure Israel would have a monopoly on nuclear weapons in the region. A more fundamental reason for the strike is that the Israelis want Iran to attack them so the US can then eliminate them, as a long term threat, in a wider war. The problem with this scenario is that Russia will step in to back up Iran, and also China may offer support. There's no way that the Israelis or US can really dismantle Iran short of using WMDs, which they might try if a false flag attack using WMDs is tried on their own forces in the region.
