Alexander warns that the US may strike Iran before the two weeks is up, but they may also do nothing. Things hang in the balance. However, there's a lot of opposition globally to US actions (aside from domestic opposition), with key objections coming from France and the UK - countries that have a lot of Muslim voters. Attacking Iran would also be illegal.
