Those who believe in nothing are being destroyed. Topher Project Ep 074

The world is choosing divergent paths... with Europe cancelling elections, Australia and Canada electing socialists, the US pushing for less government and more freedom, and the UK still with it all to play for.

Why these divergent paths? Is Trump to blame? And how do we increase the chances of freedom winning in the end?

There are two main things driving voting change, away from globalism, that work together, which are the (disastrous) economic and social conditions on ground PLUS candidates that speak the truth about what's happening (like Trump, Farage & LePen have done) - whether in major or minor political parties. The video here argues that people end up voting for candidates that can articulate a vision for the future, whether these are truthful/realistic or not, and then stick by that vision. The argument is that fear of Trump-like policies did not drive people away, but a lack of standing up for something tangible, something that captures people's interests, was the main reason for political failure.

However, specifics still matter. In Australia a few key negative issues ended up sinking the 'conservative' opposition. These were a threat to cut Government employees, which number 2.5 million out of 20 million active in the workforce (voters!), and a promise to build nuclear power stations - that no one in Australia wants in their backyard. Nothing much got through when it came to addressing the cost of living crisis impacting ordinary people. On the other hand the Labor Government essentially promised everyone free healthcare, and some (pitiful) tax and expenses relief ... despite the fact that the causes of high inflation and housing unaffordability was unaddressed.

The key takeaway is that in an environment where there are critical issues to solve, such as the high cost of living (including paying to look after your health), a successful political party needs to offer a remedy. The remedy can address the symptoms, which is what the Labor policies did, or the root causes, which is what only the minor nationalist leaning parties did - such as One Nation, People First, etc.

Standing up for the TRUTH, and offering a remedy striking at the root causes of US problems is what got Trump elected, combined with the economic mess the country was facing. This is the winning formula - one that looks after the interests of local people. Striking at root causes should beat solutions that only address the symptoms.

It also helps if large sections of the population have switched off the MSM and are getting their news from alternative sources (that do not hide the root causes of people's problems).

Note: The fundamental battle for change being played out today is one against continued globalism, which has caused the major problems impacting people; via Net Zero escalating energy prices, outsourcing killing off jobs, and mass migration driving up demand for housing and services. The alternative is going back to nationalist policies so that every nation is more self sufficient (industrialised) and running on cheap energy fossil fuel energy, until new power sources are actually ready to take over.
