When a State fails it doesn't instantly become Zimbabwe or Venezuela or California... it's a procession of repeated failures over time, ignoring the warnings, which leads there.

The road to Venezuela is a long one, it took Venezuela 18 years to go from the wealthiest country in South America to one of the poorest in the world. But in truth Victoria's road is more comparable with California's, and if I'm right about that then they have a long way down to go before they wise up.



A key point about these draconian tax measures is that people and businesses can move out of the State, like they did after the Covid lockdowns. People simply left the State of Victoria.
