The same thing applies to right leaning people, but the difference is that those on the centre right seem more open to criticism/discussion than people on the centre left who seem more disjointed from hard aspects of reality. Those on the left (these days) tend to post distortions of what's happening - feeding off the corrupt MSM and their proxies - believing in things such as the Russiagate hoax, not recognising lawfare for what it is, believing in the lies about the wars in Syria and Ukraine, defending the official Covid narrative, believing in climate alarmism, in open borders, and many other matters. They tend to believe in whatever authority tells them which is made to be synonymous with moral virtue - something that has no relevance when evaluating factual information. It's not everyone on the left that is caught up within this propaganda matrix (people like Jimmy Dore, Russell Brand, Naomi Wolf, are not), but many are.
