‘Sweet justice’: Ian Plimer on the election downfall of the Greens (Sky News Australia)

Geologist Ian Plimer says the potential for Greens leader Adam Bandt to lose his own seat would be “sweet justice”.

The Greens have lost two seats and gained another as its leader’s future in parliament is under threat from a massive Labor victory in the 2025 Federal Election.

“(Bandt) has been targeted by some groups like Advance who very, very successfully targeted the hypocrisy and the anti-everything of the Greens,” Mr Plimer said.

“Maybe there is a God in heaven.”



Bandt, the leader of The Greens, lost his seat. People have woken up to their extremist positions on climate, open borders, and other (Agenda 2030) issues.
