Jay Bhattacharya Lecture at MIT, April 4, 2024 (MIT Free Speech)

Stanford University medical school professor and epidemiologist Jay Bhattacharya, a co-author of the Great Barrington Declaration on pandemic response, spoke at MIT on April 4, 2024. Dr. Bhattacharya spoke of, among other issues, the censorship his research and commentary faced under pressure from the U.S. government, which later became the subject of a case recently argued at the Supreme Court.

Dr. Bhattacharya was hosted by the MIT Students for Open Inquiry, with additional support provided by the MIT Free Speech Alliance

Quote: "The Government was the primary source of misinformation during the pandemic" ... and they censored dissent and criticism that was directed at what they were doing. It wasn't just censorship but the smearing of valid criticism as misinformation despite the content being true.

Most of this lecture deals with the suppression and censorship experienced by Dr Bhattacharya and others (being blacklisted on Twitter, until Musk took over, and also on Facebook, You Tube and the general media). Thankfully Bhattacharya is now in charge of the NIH. 1 hour lecture explaining what informed dissenters were doing, in trying to stop the lockdowns and informing people about the realities of the experimental jabs, and the vicious backlash they received.
