Since the fall of Assad in Syria, the former Al Qaeda leaders who seized control of significant portions of the country have engaged in massacres of the minority Alawite population. Remember, these are the “moderate rebels” the United States funded to carry out the dirty war in Syria and who were going to put an end to the Assad regime’s reign of terror.
