Trump’s War Plan Leak (Lotus Eaters)

It looks like a deliberate leak but what was the intention? The group that gets off the worst here are the Europeans, for being accused of not getting involved to support Israel. Vance looks good politically, on a domestic level, because he comes across as anti interventionist, but it's something the Israelis, who control much of the US political system, would see as a problem. This looks like something done by Israel firsters in the Administration. None of these revelations are Earth shattering.

The biggest problem is that the US is bombing the Houthis who have engaged in a blockade because of the actions of the Israelis in Gaza. Everything would unwind if the attacks on Gaza stopped, but they won't. The idea is to have an escalation in which the US will destroy Israel's enemies for them.
