How will Trump's tariffs impact Australia? (Leithvo)

This interview with Ross & Russ on Radio 3AW discusses the potential impacts of the Trump Administration's tariffs on Australian steel and aluminum.

Australia exports very little to the USA, so the impact will be minor. However, lost sales of steel and aluminium could be made up if Australia stopped importing the same products into the country from countries such as China (notably poor quality Chinese steel). Every country around the world should be as self sustaining as possible and not reliant on overseas trade to function.
