Australia's energy system crashes down on economy (Leithvo)

This week's interview with Luke Grant at Radio 2GB/4BC discusses the latest decision by the Australian Energy Regulator to raise electricity prices by up to 9%. The discussion centres around policy failures driving the nation's energy price shocks.

Industry shutting down. This is a crisis. And the obvious solutions are largely ignored, which is reserving domestic gas supplies for cheap energy production, and going back to coal power stations (new plus properly maintained ones).

The clowns in power need to be kicked out and replaced. Vote for the nationalist minor parties ... if they end up holding the balance of power something might actually happen.
