If you were injured the UK authorities really did not want to know about it. They would only pay out compensation if you were 60% injured, and then they often under diagnosed the injury level. Also remember that all cause mortality in many countries is running at around 10% - much higher than normal. The 'died suddenly' issue. None of these people would be getting any compensation either. The scale of what's happened has been largely kept hidden from the public ...
