Donald Trump is alarmed by the rise of BRICS and the possibility that the US Dollar might be replaced as the default global currency. And so, to ensure the dollar retains its international supremacy, Trump has threatened to impose 100% tariffs on any nation with the presumption to adopt an alternate currency.
