A Russian general, and another individual, assassinated in Moscow. This assassination war will likely lead to similar attacks carried out by the Russians, but on a larger scale. These sorts of operations will mean that the Russians will necessarily seek a complete victory in Ukraine in order to stamp this out. The entire war began due to anti Russian aggression from the Ukrainians following the 2014 coup. They are revealing themselves as (neocon backed) extremists that have no boundaries.
In Syria the Turks continue to build up their forces in preparation for war against the Kurds. Russia maintained its bases in the West, but is preparing to remove all its forces over the coming months.
