Decades of energy policy failure are coming home to roost [in Australia] - Leithvo

This week's Treasury of Common Sense with Luke Grant at Radio 2GB dissected the four energy policy failures wrecking the economy and living standards.

The four points are 1. the privatisation of utilities, 2. following net zero policies that have trashed reliable and cheap coal power, before there was a viable replacement 3. the lack of gas fired power stations plus the high cost of gas due to the exportation of three quarters of it, and further increases in gas costs from IMPORTS! to make up for the 'shortages', and  4. a massive increase in demand due to mass migration policies.  The country has been mismanaged via both sides of politics over the last few decades.

The result of this mess is high prices for everything due to energy costs (inflation), the shutting down of industry due to high energy costs (deindustrialisation), and overall lowered living standards - where people are doing it tough when this never should have happened. Voters in Australia should be voting for the minor, nationalist leaning, parties that are actually willing to repair the damage that's been caused here.
