Ukr Kursk Offensive Bogs Down, Kursk NPP Beyond Reach, Ukr Losses; Rus S400s Iran, US Threatens Iran (Alexander Mercouris)

The Ukrainian troops committed to this incursion have weakened other areas of the front. Have they thrown away some of their best troops with this gamble? Was this attack undertaken in order to speed up the collapse of the front lines so that intervention from the West will be enacted before the US election? They know they are losing. If Trump gets into office they'll get no help when they do fall apart so the idea here might be to fall apart now and create a crisis that invites direct Western intervention.

Of course the Ukrainian lines may collapse and they'll get no help in any event.
