Anti-Woke Vs UnWoke: Musings on Pop Culture (Dave Cullen)

The fan backlash to woke content is valid. However, the clip points out that the original franchise material will always be iconic and warns about writing off that original material.  In light of the bankrupt nature of woke corporate entertainment we can tell new stories that are politically neutral, in the style of how things used to be. 

If independent creators end up making 'unwoke' content that the public likes it'll sideline the garbage and things will return to be a more normative level.
