Star Wars For Girls - The Acolyte (Robot Head)

The Acolyte’s second trailer is here and it looks like Disney are going full girl brand. The once power house story for boys has turned it’s back on the old fans in it’s search for a new audience. And that idea is not going so well. Will the Acolyte save Disney and Star Wars? Or will it be the final nail in the coffin for this galaxy far far away?



A big issue with this girl branding is that they don't have male role models in the stories. Rival leading male characters end up being trashed by acting like idiots, cowards, or are generally weak. No young male wants to see something like that. Combine this with crap storytelling and overly dramatised, no meaning scenes, and you create something that is largley unwatchable.
