The ugly truth is that key positions in the US Government are not open to anyone who would rock the boat.
The only way for reformers to be safe from Deep State (intelligence community) threats is via military protection, including all their family members.
To fully dismantle the web of corruption the military needs to come in and clean house, using defecting members of the intelligence networks. NSA, CIA, and FBI blackmail files need to be opened and the corrupt ratted out. This is the reality of how things operate in the USA.
