Rus Breaks Ukr Orlovka-Berdychi Defence Line; Furious Erdogan Zelensky Refuses Rus Talk, China Swiss Say Talk To Rus (Alexander Mercouris)

Alexander opens by pointing out that the war is not a stalemate. Russia is slowly advancing while Ukraine is suffering huge losses. Russia has also suffered a reasonable amount of losses, with plenty of evidence of destroyed vehicles, but they have a lot more resources. The Ukrainians, despite massive NATO support, won't be able to sustain their operations. The longer the war continues the better the Russians seem to be going. The Russians end up with more soldiers, drones, aircraft, and other equipment, and are using them in a more coordinated way.

Meanwhile there is still talk from Macron about French intervention, at the very least to neighbouring Moldova, and then on to Ukraine. Other countries, such as China, and Switzerland, are calling for a negotiated settlement rather than escalation.
