Western weapons, training and intelligence makes them co belligerents in the war. Threats are being made, from Germany and Poland, that European troops will enter the fight in Ukraine to stop Russian expansion. The Russians only want to stop the Ukrainian Army and go no further. These threats are simply to discourage the continuance of Russian operations.

Meanwhile the Russians are making allies of those countries that are targets of the Western world. It looks like there is now a mutual defense pact with Iran.

UPDATE:

The Iranians have reportedly launched missile attacks on US targets in Iraq, in the Kurdish occupied areas. This will please Turkey and rile the Americans:
