Alexander opens with the news of the death of Gonzalo Lira in Ukraine as a result of his imprisonment. Unfortunately he pushed things too far in a country run by a virtual dictatorship. He had a family in the country and wanted to speak out against what was happening. He spoke out as an American citizen who was abandoned by his Government and the US media establishment.
