US Missiles, Carriers MidEast, Target Iran; Rus AWACS, S400 Destroy Ukr Jets; Ukr Avdeyevka Crumbles (Alexander Mercouris)

The neocons look like they will try to start a war with Iran. However, with Russia on their side, the Iranians may restrain themselves if attacked. Any attack on Iran will be very difficult, and limited, due to the distances involved. US-Israeli attacks in Lebanon would be more realistic.

Very interestingly, at the United Nations, there is no unqualified support for the US in their handling of the Gaza-Israel crisis in the security council. Supposed allied countries are abstaining when it comes to passing resolutions. 

Meanwhile things are on the edge for the Ukrainians where they may be at the point where they don't have enough remaining forces to hold back the numerous Russian advances.
