The Russians Burst Into Avdiivka - Fighting Is Going On Inside. Military Summary For 2023.10.12

This is the same encirclement pattern that we saw when the Russians were supporting the Syrian Army. The Russians are losing equipment and personnel in the battle, but if they maintain momentum they may continue this advance beyond Avdiivka. For all sides in the conflict, advancing on open ground, even with tanks and artillery support, is very difficult considering the preponderance of drones and anti tank missiles.
