Ethan is right that the woke mindset is based on the idea of acknowledging and advancing alleged oppressed classes based on race, sexuality and gender. The problem is that we already have a meritocracy which allows equal opportunity for all. The problem is advancing people in our established system who do not merit their positions. It's a recipe for disaster. Activist people pushing a political agenda in comics has destroyed the industry. Ordinary, predominantly straight, people are simply not interested in their politics and stop buying their stories.
