These people are acting under duress. The State has targeted Trump lawyers in a 1984 style operation. The lawyers backed down because they were threatened with jail time.
The case against them is based on ideas that they were acting seditiously, in some sort of criminal (racketeering) conspiracy. The whole idea that there was seditious conspiracy, when what everyone wanted was a simple audit of the ballots, is a joke. The denial of due process following the election led to all the protestations. While not all claims turned out to be valid it was obvious the election result was highly suspicious. And now the Deep State is trying to legitimize what happened. However, by not performing an audit they delegitimized the result.
