DOJ Backs Trump AGAINST FBI AGENTS SUING DOJ as Justice Prevents Attempt at Deposition (HA Goodman)

The DoJ doesn't want Trump to testify in this case where FBI agents texted that they were working to stop Trump gaining office. Is the DoJ trying to protect the FBI agents from the truth so that they can win their case? It seems they have no leg to stand on not matter what, but perhaps the DoJ move here is also a public perception thing. If Trump gets involved it will remind the public about what happened.
