Corporations are getting investment money from ESG funds - where money would not be available unless they followed certain woke criteria. However, the criteria often destroys the basic functioning of the business by hiring incompetent (diverse) professionals or producing woke content that is not favoured by the general population. It's not just Hollywood. Other large corporations have to play this game that is set by big finance (Wall Street). The same Wall Street also implemented policies that strongly encouraged outsourcing of manufactured goods overseas. In this second instance the motive looks like it was profiteering, whereas the former looks like a political agenda being played out.
