U.S. Now Paying For Ukrainians’ Healthcare As Americans Starve (Jimmy Dore)

USAID Chief Samantha Power recently boasted that the United States had, under her organization’s auspices, shipped $15 billion to Ukraine — a sum that will pay the salaries of the country’s public sector employees, including teachers, civil servants, firefighters, etc., for two full years. What that $15 billion WON’T be spent on? Desperately needed social services here at home.



The point is that money can be easily conjured up for wars but not for anything else that would help poor people in the USA. It would also help if the economy had not been wrecked by massive industrial outsourcing. Open borders do not help either making cheap labor available in a country with a very low minimum wage.
