The left, led on by tolerant sensibilities, has denied the reality of the world that is rife with conflict and competing ideologies, many of them highly conservative. The Western leftists don't seem to appreciate the harsh nature of the world. Offering love and compassion may work for individuals but it does next to nothing for organised groups of people who will simply take advantage of the openness and then crush what they perceive as weakness and perversion. A level of xenophobia is actually a good thing when we consider organised groups of people. Being a minority in a Western country might be a good thing, but being a minority in many foreign countries can be hell.
Mass migration is a mistake. People should only be allowed into other countries, in small numbers, if they want to join the culture. Anything else is colonisation leading to Balkanisation.
