Dam Destroyed / What is the Russian's Strategy Col Doug MacGregor (Judging Freedom)

MacGregor's take on the dam explosion shortly after it happened. He considers that the explosion inside the dam may have been accidental due to equipment or structural failure. On his analysis of the recent fighting he say the Ukrainians lost up to 4000 casualties against 70 on the Russian side. No matter what sort of offensive is launched the end result looks like a Ukrainian massacre. Eventually Ukraine's defensive lines will collapse if such loss ratios are maintained.

The clip ends with MacGregor pointing out that enthusiasm for the war in Germany has evaporated, and where there is waning support in the rest of Europe. He also makes some interesting observations about US industrial support for Russia in World War 2. Vast amounts of material was given over for free, whereas the British were charged for everything. FDR thought more favourably of Stalinist Russia than the British Empire, where Russia was selling its excess US oil (imported) to the Japanese who were at war with the USA (according to MacGregor).
