WEAPONIZED INCOMPETENCE- When Did The Comic Book Industry Become A Catch-Basin For Idiots? (YaBoiZack)

An agent in the comic book industry taking weeks to months to get back to their clients and they think this is okay? WTH? Unbelievable.

When I picked up Wizard back in like 1994, I loved reading about what the indie publishers were doing to stay competitive in the industry. Harris, Valiant, technically Image, Chaos!, Antarctic and so forth. Put aside the pouches and pecs. It was a great time because people were genuinely trying to produce better comics than The Other Guy. There were survivors and there were casualties in all that competition. There was also a lot of fun. A lot of excitement to see what was coming. It was a real industry back then.

But it's not an industry anymore. It's basically an affirmative action hiring program for the most unstable, most unemployable mentally deranged .2% of society. In other words, in previous eras of American history, pretty much the entire "industry" would've been locked up in asylums already and we never would've heard about them in the first place.
