Russia Storms Last Bakhmut Positions, Bombards Ukraine; US Seeks Frozen Conflict, West Prepares F16s (Alexander Mercouris)

There's talk in the West about freezing the conflict like what we see in Korea. However, the Russians will see this as an opportunity for Ukraine to rearm and attack at a later date - as happened with the Minsk Agreements. This would not be acceptable to Russia.

Any F-16 deliveries will take time and will suffer the same fate as the Russian aircraft currently used by Ukraine.
