In this episode Neil takes us to meet William Wilberforce, a determined and resolute figure, who fought to end the C19th’s industrial slave trade.



If you don't have any knowledge of history you can be misled into believing almost any (political) narrative about how the the world works. In this video we look at slavery, that was practiced worldwide, and that the British Empire ended it (after much debate). A strong driving force was religious morality.

Every major civilisation on Earth practiced slavery. It was only ended via armed intervention and financial compensation.
