Bernie Sanders, along with notable progressive Democrats, held a press conference recently to announce with great fanfare that they would be re-introducing a Medicare for All bill. Why they waited through two years while Democrats held both houses of Congress and the Presidency until Republicans had re-taken the House — ensuring that this bill will never get a vote on the House floor — was not mentioned.

Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss the outright posturing coming from so-called “progressives” in Congress who have made it clear that they will never challenge the Democratic leadership but will pay lip service to promoting single payer healthcare when an election is approaching.



What's going on here is a clear sign the public is being conned by the US political system. The same thing happened when Obama was first elected.
