Amid the chaos at a Neo-Nazi rally in Melbourne at the weekend, I confronted both Neo-Nazi protestors and Antifa counter-protesters who appeared to share a lot in common, not in the least hating me.
In the clip, as presented, both the Nazis and Antifa could not make coherent arguments on where they stood under questioning. However, the Nazi side filmed the entire interview with Avi and their replies were more coherent. You don't have to agree with what they are saying but they did make a better argument for what they were doing. In the interests of honest reporting the full interview with Avi should have been shown or made available (see below).
The thing about the neoNazis is that the right doesn't need them to forward some of the arguments they are making. They tar any issue they try to advance and so they are a dead end street when it comes to politics. They come with too much baggage.
One can be against mass migration and not be pro Nazi. As for Antifa, they had more of a propensity to fight than their opponents. When they did speak they seemed to carry a lot of bankrupt arguments from the left (ideas formed via Critical Race Theory/Cultural Marxism).
