Douglas MacGregor - The Last Stage: Preparing for the Great Offensive

MacGregor explains how the attrition war is being conducted by the Russians, revealing that they have held back substantial forces in many places. Recently a series of missile strikes has taken out bridges near Moldova (to protect that region). However, other bridges leading from the front lines to Odessa have not been struck, which flags the possibility of a future offensive along the coast. Otherwise the war has been set up in a defensive fashion by the Russian Army, allowing the Ukrainians to destroy themselves in futile attacks and where their advantage in artillery (including missile) continually picks off personnel and equipment.

He mentions that the Polish government, although gearing themselves up for war, have been told by their own military people that engaging in battle with Russia would be a disaster. Meanwhile the Ukrainians are throwing everything into the fight at the behest of the West - almost as if the West doesn't care if the pro-neoNazi regime is wiped out. The highest level sponsors of the war probably hope that both the Russians and Ukrainians exhaust themselves. In reality only one side is being broken in this conflict.
